Here are some simple ideas that can help you get started building those meaningful relationships:

Ask about prayer needs - When dining at a restaurant, ask your waiter or waitress for any prayer needs before you pray for your meal. This is a very touching way to reach out to others.
Encourage people - where you shop, at the fast food drive-in window, at the gas station or ball park. Everyone needs encouragement and the one who takes the time to smile and ask about their day will become a welcome friend.
Use all of your senses - Notice your surroundings, listen to people. Are pictures of grandchildren displayed? What about a favorite sports team? Are they sad or feeling ill? Connect to interests, find common ground and relate to what is going on in their life.
Get connected with your ONE's world - If you have children, plan a party that involves the whole family. When someone new moves into the neighborhood, take some cookies or a special treat basket. Invite your ONE for a meal or dessert. Meet for coffee.
Meet the needs of your ONE - In times of crisis or just any time, take a meal to the family, babysit, or assist with other needs.
Share from your life - Share a book/movie/CD/DVD that has made an impact in your life. Let them see how God guides you each day.
These ideas may have sparked other ideas in your mind and heart. As you build those relationships, let the Holy Spirit lead you to share your testimony. The ultimate goal is to help your ONE build a relationship with Jesus Christ. We pray you will be on a ONE mission everywhere you go and in everything you do. Make it a way of life and share your faith through your daily living!

Love - Be intentional and faithful in showing the love of christ to your one. Become a genuine friend.

Equip - Equip yourself! Attend worship, your small group and equipping services to prepare yourself for one

Invite - As your relationship grows between you, God, and your ONE, invite them to attend church functions

Share Christ - If you'll get them there, we'll share Christ. We believe that the love of Christ coming through you can open the heart of a lost ONE so they will be open and receptive to receive. If you build a true relationship by action, they will respond to your invitation with an open heart.

Disciple others - continue your commitment. Continue your prayers. Continue loving.
