This verse makes it pretty clear that worship is about all the moments of our lives. From the book Pure Praise by Dwayne Moore . . .

"Worship is not just something we do on Sundays at church.  And it's certainly more than singing or attending a service, although those are included.  Worship is a lifestyle.  It involves everything we do and think and are.  It means loving God with every breath we take and every move we make."

Rick Warren says "worship is simply bringing pleasure to God." 

We often mistake a one-hour event - usually on Sunday - as our only time to worship. Or sometimes we call the music in that weekly hour The Worship Time. But, the truth is, every minute of every day God has called us to be worshipers. One of the focus verses for our worship ministries is John 4:23 which says But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth . . . they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.  We worship when we are doing the activities of our lives in obedience to the will o f God, with a heart of submission and surrender. A life of worship is all about making sure God is getting the glory.

  So, worshiping God should consume each part of our lives. In every activity, in every place, and in every relationship, we are to be emptied of self and filled with the Spirit of God.
