PRAISE BRIGADE
Our mission is to teach children about Jesus through music. We work on two musicals each year that are presented at Christmas and in the Spring. Through these musicals the children learn lessons about serving Jesus in our daily lives.
Praise Brigade is one hour with thirty minutes dedicated to learning the musical. The other thirty minutes are spent in a specialized activity. Kindergarten through 2nd graders rotate each week between crafts and an activities class in which they learn a lesson from each song in the musical. 3rd - 5th graders spend thirty minutes in a worship arts class. These classes are designed to help the children express themselves through various areas of ministry and shows them ways that they can serve the Lord.
Our Worship Arts classes for the Fall 2010 semester of Praise Brigade are:
Guitar: This is a group class that is designed to teach the basic guitar chords. Guitar required.
Drama (Speaking Roles): This class works each week on the speaking roles for the musical.
Drama (Non-Speaking Roles): This class will work on choreography for the musical.
Kid Connection Praise Team: This class rehearses each Wednesday night to lead on Sunday morning during music time in Kid Connection.
TK News Team: This class works each week on a video segment that is presented each Sunday morning in the Children's Theatre.
Christian Music Video: This class will work on acting and producing music videos to be used in conjunction with the Sunday morning time in the Children's Theatre.

MEET ME AT THE MANGER
Wise Men Still Follow Him Today
Meet Me at the Manger creatively communicates how the gifts of the wise men are relevant today. This musical takes the children from a choir performance at Herod's Department Store to a Christmas party at the Lighthouse Mission. There the children discover that God's desire is for us to have a heart of gold and to give prayer and praise to God like sweet incense. By serving Him in the mission, the children learn what it means to lay down their wants, choosing instead to live for Jesus.

Daily Diving Deeper into God's World and Word
Join Jonas Joppa and the rest of the God Squad from Alleluia Aquatic Academy as they venture out in a submarine to learn more about God through His underwater world. Under Professor Gill's direction, the students learn to navigate the sometimes murky waters of life by seeking God's Word daily. Once they ask God to open their eyes, ears and hearts, they begin to realize the depth of God's love for them.
